Marie Sharp's Green Mango Chutney
You haven’t tried this one yet either! With your first taste, you get the mango. By the second taste, you will pick up the onion and garlic and raisins. By the time you have a third taste, the little kick of habanero starts to creep in.
Ingredients: Green Mango, Sugar, Vinegar, Onion, Raisins, Ginger, Salt, Garlic, Habenero Pepper, Spices.
Have it on a sandwich – add it to chicken salad.
Serve it alongside a cheese, and-or preserved, cured meat platter.
Mix it into ground beef or pork and use for meatloaf or sausage roll filling.
Serve it on the side of a meat pie or and empanada.
Eat it with any kind of cooked pork dish (e.g. chops, tenderloin, ham, etc.)
Lovely served with samosas, pakora, Jamaican patties, Cornish pasties.
